Our Pastoral Families

Pastor Christian Martin was born in Argentina, raised in the mission field and called to ministry at the age of 16. He began pastoral ministry as a youth pastor in Battle Creek, Michigan after graduating from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee in 1999. His hobbies include long distance running but it's his passionate love for Christ that has blessed his congregations. He and his wife, Heidi, are the happy parents of two children, Elijah and Moriah. He served as pastor in Oregon and Colorado before coming to Living Hope where he has been serving since May of 2019 as the senior pastor. He and wife, Heidi, also host a morning program on Hope Channel called Wake Up with Hope.

Pastor Raymond Torres is a native of Michigan and was raised in beautiful middle Tennessee. He sensed a calling to ministry in his youth and worked with ASI Youth for Jesus for several years as a Bible worker and speaker while pursuing his Religion degree and beyond. It was during the ASI Youth for Jesus program that he met his wife overseas, and today, he and Marietta are the happy parents of four children: Raymond, Gabriel, Evangeline and Anneliese. His hobbies include playing the violin and cycling. He and Marietta have served in ministry in several churches for the past 10 years in Kentucky as well as Michigan before joining the pastoral team at Living Hope in 2025. Raymond has a heart for evangelism and leading people to Christ. He is currently serving as our associate pastor while planting a new congregation in Warrenton, VA, the Blessed Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church.
